Our Services

While we help children from birth to age 18, the majority of the children who receive services from Precious Haven are between 12 and 17. Children are placed with us because of emotional and behavioral disorders, physical or sexual abuse, substance abuse or suicidal idealization or attempt. 

Precious Haven  is an  outpatient therapy provider. Our clinical team can provide DWI assessments, comprehensive clinical assessments and individual/group or family therapy. Our clinical team is well trained in various treatment modalities to reach the diverse populations we work with.  Eighty percent of Precious Haven’s children have multiple problems, which may include developmental or learning disabilities. Although admission requirements vary based on the individual program, generally speaking, we treat:

• Hard-to-help, hard-to-place children
• Children who have failed at numerous other programs often find success here
• Children with emotional and behavioral problems plus co-occurring medical issues
• Children who have severe acting out behaviors
• Boys and girls, ages 7-18
• Children with problem sexual behaviors
• Emotionally disturbed children with developmental delays or disabilities
• Children who are medically fragile
